Low Vision Bureau is an Online Project (includes Disabled Lifestyle Program) created by a group of low vision/visually impaired people from all walks of life. Its goal is to serve and empower the low vision community in the United States. By “low vision” or “visually impaired” we mean people who are legally blind or have decreased vision from any cause. Visual impairment could be caused by many different things, including but not limited to: age related macular degeneration (AMD), retinitis pigmentosa (RP), diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, usher syndrome, or physical injury.
From this day forward, individuals with limited eyesight in the United States have a powerful voice. Low Vision Bureau is committed to help change how businesses and individuals “see us”.
